Safety Compliance

The Department of Transportation uses a system called Safestat to select motor carriers for compliance audits. Carriers are evaluated in four components called Safety Evaluation Areas: drivers, vehicles, safety management and accidents.

DOT Advisor applies over twenty years of direct Federal DOT knowledge and experience in reviewing the identical components as a Federal auditor.

A thorough review of your operation can save your company thousands of dollars in unnecessary fines and fees.

In response to increased public pressure and concern over truck safety, The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration has pledged better oversight of motor carriers. Specifically the agency has committed to substantially increasing the number and average dollar amount of fines levied against motor carriers for safety violations.

DOT Advisor can assist you and your company in the avoidance of audits and fines.

An assessment will provide a means to:
Stave off regulatory action and fines
Provide a solid defense in the event of an audit
Discover violations and identify corrective actions
Improve the overall performance of your drivers and company
